Self Photos / Files - SEKO LA“Despite the much-publicized labour issues at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, it is still the number one port in the United States and located in one of the key markets in the world,” said William Wascher, CEO of SEKO Logistics. “Our customers are experiencing significant growth in California and that’s why we are supporting them with this series of investments to ensure we have the capacity to facilitate their expansion.”

SEKO has also relocated its air freight gateway to a new 82,000-square-foot facility which is more than 30% larger than the former one at Los Angeles International Airport. It is located near the airport and seaport for international air and ocean export and deconsolidation services, according to the company.

Wascher said that SEKO supports air export consolidations for retailers and e-tailers to the Asia-Pacific region from Los Angeles, and that demand from the solar, high-tech, aerospace and medical industries for the company’s warehousing, logistics and distribution services in California was at an all-time high.

SEKO operates a total of eight facilities in the state of California.
