These aircraft are the first two of 20 747-8Fs ordered by ABC at the Paris Air Show in June 2015.

“For Volga-Dnepr Group, adding more new-generation 747-8 Freighters will allow to secure further development of the Group’s scheduled business, AirBridgeCargo Airlines, and keep the airline’s high growth rates,” said Denis Ilin, executive president of ABC. “This is a celebration of successful partnership with Boeing, which will enable the airline to continue providing its customers with the exceptional air cargo services they are used to.”

According to ABC, the new planes will be deployed on flights between Asia and the US under the winter schedule.

ABC’s fleet now consists of one 737-400F, two 747-400Fs, five 747-400ERFs and eight 747-8Fs.
