UPS APPOINTS NEW GENERAL COUNSEL AND CORPORATE SECRETARY

UPS has appointed Norman M. Brothers, Jr. as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary from January 1, 2016.

“Norm has demonstrated tremendous leadership in the 15 years since joining our legal team,” said Abney. “His experience in diverse legal areas and understanding of our business will be key as he works as part of the leadership team to maintain the high standards we’ve set for our company.”

 

Brothers was previously UPS’ vice president and deputy general counsel. According to UPS, he has experience in practice areas such as litigation, corporate, business development, regulatory compliance and international.

 

Prior to joining UPS, Brothers was a military prosecutor in the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and practiced at Atlanta-headquartered King & Spalding.
