SWISS WORLDCARGO APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF GLOBAL AREA MANAGEMENT

Swiss WorldCargo has appointed Alexander Arafa as its new head of global area management from June 1, 2016.

 

Self Photos / Files - Alexander ArafaArafa, who is currently head of cabin crew at SWISS, will succeed Ashwin Bhat, and will oversee the worldwide sales of products and services, according to Swiss WorldCargo.

 

“We are delighted to have appointed a proven executive from within our own ranks to this important position,” said Thomas Klühr, chief executive officer of SWISS. “In addition to his extensive sales expertise from his earlier airline career, Alexander also brings the ideal credentials to his new post through the eight years he has spent as the head of our cabin crew corps.”

 

Arafa has more than 25 years of sales experience, having worked at Northwest Airlines, Olympic Airways, American Airlines, Lufthansa and Swissair.
