CMA CGM Air Cargo has announced the launch if its Bombay Airport service — a new destination that would strengthen its commercial offering in India.

The new destination will open a scheduled route between Paris and Mumbai.

 "CMA CGM AIR CARGO will serve BOM with 4 weekly flights from May 12 with an A330F aircraft," the announcement said.

It noted that Bombay airport is a major hub offering adapted infrastructures for intermodal connections in the region.

CMA CGM Air Cargo said the new destination would also boost its combined offering with the Air France KLM Martinair Cargo Group — launched in April.

"This new destination is part of our strategic partnership with the Air France KLM Martinair Cargo Group and complements the existing offer to give you even more options for your air transport needs," the air cargo arm of shipping giant CMA CGM said.
