The G6 alliance, consisting of APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line, will continue to void its Loop 6 service from Week 19, for an additional eight weeks.
Instead, the alliance will be modifying its Loop 4 and Loop 5 services to provide coverage of major ports.
Loop 4’s rotation will be: Ningbo – Shanghai (Yangshan) – Xiamen – Shekou – Hong Kong – Yantian – Singapore – Southampton – Antwerp – Hamburg – Rotterdam – Jeddah – Jebel Ali – Singapore – Hong Kong – Ningbo.
Loop 5’s rotation will be: Kwangyang – Pusan – Shanghai (Yangshan) – Ningbo – Kaohsiung – Yantian – Singapore – Le Havre – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Southampton – Singapore – Shekou – Kaohsiung – Kwangyang.
The Loop 6 service will resume in Week 27, with an expected arrival date in Fuzhou of July 7, 2016, according to the alliance.
