REPORTS: MARTIN DREW TO LEAVE ETIHAD
July 4, 2023

Martin Drew, senior vice president of global sales and cargo at Etihad, is reportedly leaving the airline.

Multiple reports said Drew would step down from his role at the Abu Dhabi-based aviation group and that he would leave by the end of September.

Etihad, however, has yet to confirm the reports and who would be named his replacement.

An Etihad spokesperson said, "Martin Drew, senior vice president of global sales and cargo, will be leaving Etihad Airways."

"Martin [Drew] was instrumental in leading our sales and cargo operations over the past few years, having driven considerable revenue growth and fortified our partnerships with trade and corporate partners, freight forwarders and other key stakeholders around the world."

The spokesperson added that Drew's leadership of Etihad Cargo
was especially critical over the past few years when it was an essential lifeline through the pandemic.

"We would like to thank Martin for his leadership and wish him all the best with his next venture," the spokesperson further said.

Drew's LinkedIn page still lists him as senior vice president of global sales & cargo at Etihad.

Drew has over 25 years of experience in commercial aviation.

Prior to his current position, which began in November 2020, Drew was vice president — Europe & Americas for Etihad from April 2018 to October 2020.

He also held the position of senior vice president — Americas at Etihad from July 2015 to March 2018.
