KUEHNE + NAGEL OPENS ENHANCED LOGISTICS CONTROL CENTRE IN SINGAPORE

Kuehne + Nagel has launched its enhanced Logistics Control Centre in Singapore to strengthen the company’s global hub concept of providing end-to-end solutions from a single source.

 

According to Kuehne + Nagel, the control centre, which is located within the company’s Singapore Logistics Hub, has been designed to facilitate team collaboration in order to drive solutions such as visibility and event monitoring, order management, transport management and performance management.

 

“The Singapore Logistics Hub is part  of Kuehne + Nagel’s regional strategy to provide end-to-end supply chain capabilities to support customers through Asia’s dynamic logistics market,” said Jens Drewes, president of South Asia-Pacific at Kuehne + Nagel. “By locating the Logistics Control Centre in the Singapore Logistics Hub, we can increase synergies and strengthen our hub concept to provide a one-stop solution to customers.”

 

The new centre offers integrated logistics services and dedicated teams for contract management, continuous improvement, logistics partner management and customer data analytics.

The company’s Singapore Logistics Hub opened in January 2016.
