CMA CGM IS LAUNCHING FOUR RAIL SERVICES IN CHINA

CMA CGM China has launched four new rail services in northern China, improving intermodal connections.

 

The four services are Qiqihar in Heilongjiang Province to Dalian Port; Changchun in Jilin Province to Dalian Port; Yinchuan in Ningxia Province to Tianjin Port; and Caoxian in Shandong Province to Qingdao Port.

 

These services connect China's inland cities to northern coastal ports.

 

By connecting China's inland cities to northern coastal ports, these services are expected to provide better transportation options to the customers.
 
CMA CGM has a total of 14 railway corridors that cover nine provinces, including one cross-border railway service to Outer Mongolia.
 
The company's railway network is connected to 50 maritime services in north China, providing global coverage to its customers.
 
Additionally, CMA CGM has a network of 18 barge corridors in north China that cover Liaoning Province, Shandong Province, and Hebei Province.
 
The average transit time for barges is between 2-3 days.
