OOCL LAUNCHES EXPRESS LINKAGE BETWEEN ASIA AND MEXICO

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has launched a new express service linking Asia and Mexico, seeking to enhance coverage in emerging markets.
OOCL is launching a new Transpacific Latin Pacific 5 (TLP5) in its Asia–Latin America network to provide comprehensive port coverage in the regions.
In addition to OOCL's existing loops TLP1/2/3, the new service will also offer direct connections between China, Korea and Mexico, with a transit time of 15 and 20 days from Qingdao to Ensenada and Manzanillo, respectively.
The new TLP5 service will follow the Pusan - Dalian - Ningbo - Shanghai - Qingdao - Ensenada - Manzanillo - Ensenada - Yokohama - Pusan port rotation.
OOCL said the new service will commence from Ningbo ETA May 6, 2024.
