MAERSK PARTNERS WITH RUSAL

Maersk Line has signed an agreement of intent with aluminium manufacturer RUSAL on long-term cargo transportation.

 

According to Maersk, the agreement is in place for three years, with the cargo volume expected to be about 10,000 TEUs per year.

 

“We are very pleased with our agreement with RUSAL and are happy to be chosen by such an important business partner on the Russian market,” said Alexander Bobrakov, Russia sales manager at Maersk Line. “We know that consistent and reliable service is crucial for our customers and we are committed to meeting these high expectations vested in us and playing an important role in RUSAL’s supply chain.”

 

The agreement covers Maersk Line and its subsidiaries Seago Line and MCC, according to Maersk.
