CMA CGM TO IMPROVE ASIA-CARIBBEAN NETWORK

CMA CGM will enhance its PEX 2 service between Asia and the Caribbean from June 14, 2016.

 

According to CMA CGM, the new service will now begin from South China and be routed via North China and Korea directly to Mexico, shortening transit times by two days from Ningbo, six days from Shanghai, nine days from Qingdao and 13 days from Busan.

 

Singapore will also be added into the rotation, enabling South Asia transhipment connections.

 

The new port rotation will be: Chiwan – Hong Kong – Kaohsiung – Ningbo – Shanghai – Qingdao – Busan – Enseñada – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Punta Manzanillo (Panama) – Cartagena – Kingston – Caucedo – Port of Spain – Singapore – Chiwan.

 

The first voyage will be operated by the CMA CGM New Jersey, according to CMA CGM.
