Evergreen Marine, Taiwan's largest container line, is boosting its further boosting its digitalization strategy with the roll out Inmarsat Maritime's NexusWave connectivity service across its fleet, becoming the first Taiwanese container operator to standardise on the system. 

Following successful trials, Evergreen is transitioning to NexusWave to enhance crew welfare, strengthen cybersecurity, and provide seamless, high-performance connectivity for its vessels and seafarers — accelerating the company's 'Evergreen IT' modernisation programme.

NexusWave delivers bonded, multi‑network connectivity with high‑speed, always‑on service. It supports crew internet access and enables operational functions such as predictive analytics, reefer monitoring, and IoT across the fleet, using the ViaSat‑3 network to scale with demand.
