Finnair will be adding belly cargo capacity on its Helsinki-London Heathrow route from October 25, 2015, with three weekly widebody frequencies.
The additional capacity adds to the seven daily narrowbody flights Finnair already operates between Helsinki and Heathrow, as well as the twice-weekly Airbus A300 freighter flights shared by Finnair Cargo and IAG Cargo between Helsinki and London Luton.
"Our customers value the reliability which comes from Finnair's world-class punctuality and reliability on scheduled flights and our commitment to offering the highest quality cargo handling," said Antti Kuusenmäki, head of Finnair Cargo. "The added widebody capacity will be a great help in better connecting us with IAG Cargo's network."
The widebody flights will be operated on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, according to Finnair.
