Turkish Cargo transported the Batmobile from the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie from New York to London, as part of the partnership between Turkish Airlines and the film.

The move was the first part of the vehicle’s promotional tour of Europe, and involved a stopover in the carrier’s Istanbul hub.

According to Turkish, a model container was sent to JFK Airport three weeks before the transport date so that tests could be carried out.

All other shipments that were scheduled to be on the same flight as the 30-ton Batmobile had to be adjusted so that there was a zero-error margin at both the departure and arrival points.

Turkish Cargo will also be transporting the vehicle to launch events of the movies in other locations, according to the carrier.
