ANA LAUNCHES PRIO FRESH FOR PERISHABLE CARGO

ANA Cargo, the freight division of All Nippon Airways (ANA), has launched its latest service called PRIO FRESH for international airfreight transport of perishable goods.

This service is now available on ANA Cargo flights departing from six different airports, namely Haneda, Narita, Kansai, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Chitose.

The PRIO FRESH service is part of ANA's PRIO series of value-added offerings for transporting perishable international cargo.

ANA said in a statement that its customers could choose new optional services such as thermal blankets which control temperature rise with direct sunlight, service of switching to Temperature controlled trucks in domestic and provide traceability during air transportation.

Customers could also book temperature-controlled trucks on domestic road feeder services.

"This service is complied with the required regulations for transporting perishable cargo, and we provide a safe flight for customers' precious perishable cargo to their destinations," the freight arm of ANA added.

From August 1, 2023, ANA's customers could begin booking the two additional optional services: the temperature-controlled truck and traceability.

In July of this year, ANA achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Japanese airline to receive the IATA CEIV Fresh certification.

This comes after the airline was awarded the CEIV Pharma certification back in 2017.
