Atlas Air, Inc. has signed an agreement with Asiana Cargo to operate one of its Boeing 747-400 Freighters for the South Korean carrier, beginning this month.

The aircraft will be provided by Atlas Air, which will operate it on major trans-Pacific routes connecting Seoul with the US.

“Asiana Cargo is pleased to announce its partnership with Atlas Air, the most reliable air cargo partner,” said Kwang Suk Kim, executive vice president of Asiana Cargo. “Asiana appreciates Atlas’ outstanding cooperation and expects to serve Asiana’s clients with enhanced freighter services.”

Atlas Air signed a similar agreement to operate a 747-400F for Nippon Cargo Airlines in December 2016.
