VOLGA-DNEPR SIGNS MOU FOR 20 747-8S

The Volga-Dnepr Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with Boeing for 20 747-8 Freighters at the Paris Air.
Under the agreement, the group will also provide Boeing and its partners with long-term logistics support using the Antonov An-124-100 aircraft.
"Together with Boeing, we will keep the unique technology of air logistics offering both the Antonov-124-100 and our expanded Boeing 747 fleet for the benefits of global customers," said Alexey Isaikin, president of the Volga-Dnepr Group.
Volga-Dnepr, with cargo subsidiaries Volga-Dnepr Airlines, AirBridgeCargo Airlines and Atran Airlines, operates a fleet of 10 An-124-100s, three B737-400Fs, three B747-400Fs, five B747-400ERFs, six B747-8Fs and five Ilyushin IL-76TD-90VDs.
