“Acquiring additional 767F aircraft is a continuation of our very successful air fleet modernization programme and will enable us to reduce structural costs, improve our fuel efficiency and enhance the reliability of our global network,” said David J. Bronczek, president and CEO of FedEx Express.

The 767s will be delivered starting from fiscal 2018 through to fiscal 2023.

The airline already has 23 767s in its fleet, and now has 106 more on firm order.
