QATAR AIRWAYS INAUGURATES ADELAIDE

Qatar Airways has completed its inaugural flight to Adelaide in South Australia.

The airline became the first to fly the Airbus A350 to Australia.

 

According to Qatar Airways, the daily flight will offer a bellyhold cargo capacity of 80 tonnes per week into and out of the capital of South Australia.

 

The carrier already flies from Doha to Melbourne, Perth and Sydney in Australia, launched in 2009, 2012 and March 2016 respectively. All three are operated by Boeing 777-300ERs, offering a total of more than 450 tonnes of cargo capacity per week in both directions.
