AMERICAN AIRLINES CARGO OFFERS DOMESTIC CAPACITY ON CARGO.ONE
August 1, 2024

American Airlines Cargo is now offering its entire domestic cargo capacity on cargo.one's digital booking platform.

The partnership would allow US forwarders to gain improved digital access to American's domestic network that spans more than 115 US destinations as part of cargo.one's growth in regional and domestic air freight.

"From today, thousands of US-based freight forwarders using the cargo.one platform can effortlessly discover, quote and book confirmed capacity end-to-end, around the clock, using American Airlines Cargo's extensive domestic capacity," the cargo carrier said on August 1.

It noted that the added connectivity spans the entire US market and includes all American flights and trucks that can accept cargo bookings.

"Partnering with cargo.one remains a cornerstone of our digital distribution strategy, and the platform offers us an innovative means to bring our domestic services to thousands more forwarders across our footprint," said Greg Schwendinger, president of American Airlines Cargo.

"This expansion marks a strategic step in our effort to provide more options for customers to do business with us digitally," he added.

Since 2021, cargo.one has played an active role in American Airlines Cargo's digital sales push.
