ALASKA, HAWAIIAN AIR CARGO'S SINGLE CARGO-MANAGEMENT SYSTEM LAUNCHES IN JANUARY
December 19, 2025

All Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo shipments moving after January 10 will be booked, shipped and tracked in our single cargo-management system.

Cargo VP Ian Morgan said the integrated booking system expands Alaska Air Cargo's online system to all Hawaiian Air Cargo customers and creating a single system for its employees, and further streamlining operations.

With the single cargo management system, users will see several changes beginning Jan. 10 as Alaska Air Cargo aligns its operations across the network. Customers with an online booking account will be able to schedule shipments through the carrier's unified booking platform, and all freight will move under Alaska Air Cargo air waybill numbers beginning with "027."

The transition also brings standardized policies and procedures systemwide, creating a more consistent experience regardless of origin or destination.

"Our single cargo booking system for all of our customers, launching in January, will be a big improvement. That also opens online booking for Hawaiian Air Cargo customers, using the same platform as we have at Alaska. And even as we improve the technology, we are careful to keep our customer service personal and individualized, which is one of our biggest strengths," Morgan said of how the carrier is improve customer experience in 2026.

For 2026, the combined cargo arm of the recently merged Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines will launch a premium GoldStreak® Package Express shipping service product which will soon be available throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

The carrier will also launch new global destinations with service connecting Seattle (SEA) to London (LHR) and Rome (FCO) beginning Spring 2026.
